Terms and Conditions
Introduction and Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of waste collection and rubbish removal services by Go RubbishGo Ltd. By booking, requesting or using any service provided by Go RubbishGo Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. They apply to all customers within the waste collection service area, including domestic, commercial and business clients.
Please read these Terms carefully before confirming a booking. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not proceed with the service.
Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, “the Company” refers to Go RubbishGo Ltd. “The Customer” refers to the individual or organisation booking or receiving services. “Services” refers to waste collection, rubbish removal, clearance or related activities provided by the Company.
Booking Process
Bookings may be made through the Company’s usual booking channels. A booking is considered confirmed once the Company has accepted the request and, where applicable, payment or a deposit has been received.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the type, quantity and location of waste. This includes access conditions, restrictions and any relevant site considerations. Failure to provide accurate information may result in delays, additional charges or refusal of service.
Quotations and Pricing
Quotes provided by the Company are based on the information supplied by the Customer at the time of enquiry. Pricing is typically calculated using a load-based or volume-based model and reflects the amount of space waste occupies, the type of waste and access considerations.
Quotes are indicative and may be adjusted if the actual waste differs significantly from the description provided. Any adjustment will be explained to the Customer before work proceeds.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. Payment may be required in advance, on completion of the service or in accordance with agreed invoicing arrangements.
Accepted payment methods include card payments, PayPal and bank transfer, subject to availability. The Company reserves the right to withhold or suspend services until payment obligations are met.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule a booking by providing reasonable notice. The amount of notice required may vary depending on the nature of the service and scheduling commitments.
Late cancellations or failure to provide access at the agreed time may result in a cancellation charge to cover costs incurred. The Company will act reasonably when applying such charges.
Access and Site Conditions
The Customer is responsible for ensuring safe and adequate access to the waste at the scheduled time. This includes access to buildings, gardens, communal areas and parking where required.
If access is restricted, unsafe or unavailable, the Company reserves the right to delay or cancel the service. Additional charges may apply where extra time or resources are required due to access issues.
Waste Types and Restrictions
The Company provides services for non-hazardous waste unless otherwise agreed. Certain materials are restricted and will not be accepted, including asbestos, hazardous chemicals, medical waste and other prohibited items.
The Customer must not conceal or misrepresent restricted waste. If prohibited items are identified, the Company may refuse to remove them and may charge for time and handling already incurred.
Compliance with Waste Regulations
Go RubbishGo Ltd. operates as a licensed waste carrier and complies with applicable waste management regulations. All waste collected is transported and disposed of through authorised facilities.
The Customer retains a Duty of Care to ensure waste is passed only to authorised carriers. By using the Company’s services, the Customer acknowledges that waste will be handled in compliance with legal requirements.
Recycling and Disposal
The Company operates a recycling-first approach wherever practicable. However, recycling outcomes may depend on waste condition, contamination and facility capabilities.
The Company does not guarantee that all waste will be recycled. Final disposal decisions rest with authorised processing facilities.
Health and Safety
The Company is committed to maintaining safe systems of work. Its staff are trained in manual handling, waste segregation and risk assessment procedures.
The Customer must inform the Company of any known hazards on site, including unstable structures, sharp objects or hazardous conditions. Failure to disclose such information may result in suspension of services.
Liability and Damage
The Company holds appropriate public liability insurance. Reasonable care is taken to avoid damage to property during service delivery.
The Company is not liable for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or damage arising from unsafe conditions that were not disclosed in advance.
Any claims for damage must be reported promptly and supported by evidence. Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including loss of profit or business interruption, except where required by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any matter that cannot be excluded by law.
Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing services due to events beyond its reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to severe weather, accidents, road closures, strikes or regulatory restrictions.
In such circumstances, the Company will make reasonable efforts to reschedule services.
Customer Obligations
The Customer agrees to cooperate with the Company, provide accurate information and comply with these Terms. The Customer must ensure that waste presented for collection is lawful and permitted.
The Customer is responsible for removing or securing items of personal or sentimental value before services commence.
Termination of Service
The Company reserves the right to refuse or terminate services where these Terms are breached, where safety is compromised or where unlawful waste is involved.
Termination does not affect the Customer’s obligation to pay for services already provided or costs incurred.
Data Protection
Personal data collected during the booking and service process is handled in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy. Data is used only for legitimate business purposes and in line with data protection laws.
Changes to Services and Terms
The Company reserves the right to amend services, pricing and these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will apply to new bookings and ongoing services where appropriate.
Customers are encouraged to review Terms periodically.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
